What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. They can be set by the site you are on (first-party) or by other services the page loads (third-party). Similar technologies include local storage and session storage.
Cookies we set
Language preference (NEXT_LOCALE) — strictly necessary. Remembers the language you chose so the site displays in the same language on your next visit. No tracking. Expires after one year.
We do not set any advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies.
Analytics — cookieless
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate region, referring page). Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies, does not store full IP addresses, and does not build profiles of visitors across other sites. Because there is no tracking, no consent banner is required.

Third-party content
If we embed third-party content (for example a video, map, or social post), that third party may set its own cookies. We aim to avoid such embeds, and any embed we do add will be limited to what is needed for the site to work.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) will not break the site — it will simply default to English on your next visit.
Changes to this notice
If we add tools that would change what cookies are set, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent before those tools load.
